He Makes Time For Me

Occasionally, I like to spend time with God in my truck in a vacant parking lot. Today as I sipped my coffee and read my Bible, God spoke to me. I began to question whether or not I was actually hearing Him speak to me. That's when things got interesting.

Sensing God telling me to continue reading, I came upon this..."God has plainly told you...Could anything be plainer?" (Jeremiah 42:19 MSG) There's no way to explain what I experienced in that moment other than it was like God had just climbed into my truck and sat down in the seat next to me.

God can be amazingly personal at times. I'm not sure what surprises me most...that He would take the time or that He would care about my life.

With my truck windows rolled down, I began to sing out the words of one of my favorite songs..."And everything You hold in Your hand. Still You make time for me. I can't understand. I praise You, God of earth and sky. How beautiful is Your unfailing love."

I don't understand why God cares, but today I know He does because He made time for me.
