Here I am just kicking back and reflecting on a great time at our "Discover Your Church" class right after this morning's service. It's always fun to be in a learning environment with men and women who love God and want to experience more at Pathway.Before anyone pursues membership, I always want to make sure they have committed their life to Christ. So at the beginning of each class, I share the basics of what it means to become a Christian and follow with a prayer. For some it's a review, but for others, it becomes a time of new commitment. Today was no different when 2 raised their hands to make sure they were right with God.
I'm always amazed at how God works in a human heart--even in a classroom setting. It's moments like these that remind me how God is leading our church into all He has for us.
