It's hard to believe that a whole month has passed by since my last posting. I remember hearing "old people" say that 'time flies'--now I find myself saying it often. Uh-oh!I'm in good company, though, because the psalmist David wrote..."LORD, remind me how brief my time on earth will be. Remind me that my days are numbered, and that my life is fleeing away." (Psalm 39:4)
Within the last 2 weeks, I have conducted two funeral services. My take-away from them was the importance of taking advantage of every opportunity you have to love God and love the people in your life. I feel challenged to make those my priorities instead of the things that seem to scream for my attention and time.
