Let’s put ourselves in Elijah's place…he's been in this ravine for months.
God told him to go there and provided everything he needed, then the brook dries up.
Wouldn’t you think…"What’s going on?" 

God guides by what He provides. Yes, this is true, but the inverse is also true…
God also guides by what He doesn’t provide.

The same God who gives water…may cause the brook to dry up…
God may cause my source to dry up to make me go to where He wants me to be
