I enjoy worshipping God.
I've had incredible experiences in worship...sensing God's presence, hearing God's voice, feeling God's love, receiving God's forgiveness, knowing God's direction.
I love to be involved in worship with other believers...like singing at a PromiseKeepers rally with over 70,000 men a few years ago. And yet, I also love to spend time encountering God fresh and new each day in private worship. Worship is a vital part of my life.
But even with my heart for worship, I'm still not at the point where David was as he wrote..."One day spent in your house, this beautiful place of worship, beats thousands spent on Greek island beaches" (Psalm 84:10 MSG). I have never been to Greece, but that's a pretty high view of worship.
Maybe David realized that everything else is secondary to God?
