As a football fan, I enjoyed the "behind-the-scenes" football stuff such as interaction with players and game strategies. But more importantly, Tony's trust in God through the ups & downs of an NFL career, as well as the suicide of his son, challenges me to grow spiritually in my own life. It's refreshing to see people in high-profile sports positions live out their faith and share about it openly.
This book is a 'must read'...no matter what NFL team you like...
But even more so, I'd highly recommend this book as a gift to give to anyone you know who is an unchurched NFL fan...it will get their attention.
