I just returned from a meeting at Faith Chapel in Spring Valley about providing assistance and care to Fire Victims. This week Faith Chapel gave lodging and food to 200 evacuees. Currently, they are collaborating with Convoy of Hope and offering resources for other churches to reach out to nearby neighborhoods.Our plan is to reach out to Rancho Bernardo and Poway by working with Christian Life Assembly in Poway, and possibly Mira Mesa First Assembly.
I'm convinced that we need to bring compassion and care to needy people right now, right here.
Tomorrow we will be talking more about how all of us can get involved in helping people.
