"Let the power of the Lord be great" (Numbers 14:17 ESV)This is something Moses says as the people of Israel are wandering through the wilderness. It's an understanding He has--a perspective He has--knowing that they will only survive if God consistently comes through for them. Moses realizes they are totally dependent on God.
I haven't been able to shake this verse from my mind. I've been quoting it to a lot of people. It's become my mantra.
Why? Because it's something I desire to see. I want God's power to be greatly displayed in my life, my family and my church. In these areas, I need a miracle and I realize that only the power of God can make any difference.
Let the power of the Lord be great!
