There's no other way to read this...
God is incredibly powerful in the lives of those who follow Him.
Joshua and his army marched all night. I'm sure they were tired, but they knew God was leading them to possess the land...and more importantly, they knew God was going before them.
Supernaturally, God steps in and His efforts cause the momentum to swing completely to them from the very beginning. And to top off His involvement, He drops Texas-size hailstones on the enemy.
This account reminds me of another passage I have quoted many times..."For the eyes of the Lord run to and fro throughout the whole earth, to show Himself strong on behalf of those whose heart is loyal to Him." (2 Chronicles 16:9 NKJV)
There are many times when I feel as though I've marched all night...I need God to go before me and get involved supernaturally in all that I'm facing.
