Today I read something about Josiah that really challenged me..."There was no king like him who turned to the Lord with all his mind, with all his heart and with all his strength."
(2 Kings 23:25)
After reading this, I asked God...
"Can I become a person like this? Can I become someone who turns to you with all that I am?"
I feel confident in my relationship with God. I connect with Him alone everyday. I sense Him speak to me through His word and spirit. I know His voice and respond.
And yet, I am not anything like Josiah...I have so many compartmentalized areas in my life that are not committed to God. I can't say I have "turned to the Lord" with all of me.
This is my realization and my desire.
