What We Need To Know When We Ask "Why?"

"Jesus called out with a loud voice...
'My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?'"

(Matthew 27:45-46)

Jesus embraces the one question that all of us ask at some point...
When life goes dark and we don't understand, we end up asking “Why?”.

To make it through, we have to hold on to a few things the Bible tells us.

Up front, we need to know…God is at work for my good
"We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love Him." (Romans 8:28)

Next, we need to know that God is for me
"If God is for us, who can ever be against us? Since he did not spare even his own Son but gave him up for us all, won’t he also give us everything else?" (Romans 8:31-32)

Lastly, we need to know that God is with me
"Since God assured us, 'I’ll never let you down, never walk off and leave you,' we can boldly say, God is there, ready to help.” (Hebrews 13:5-6)

No matter what you're going through, never forget...
God is working for your good, God is for you and God is with you

How do we know this for sure?
God sent His son Jesus to prove it.
