He's working for my good

"At noon, darkness fell across the whole land. At about three o’clock, Jesus called out with a loud voice...'My God, my God, why have you abandoned me?'”

(Matthew 27:45-46 NLT)

Jesus embraces the one question that all of us ask at some point...
When life goes dark and we don't understand, we end up asking “Why?”.

It's easy to trust God when life is going the way you want it to, but it's so difficult when you don't understand...when it feels like you're in the dark.

To make it through, we have to hold on to a few things that the Bible tells us about God. Up front, we need to know is…God is at work for my good

The apostle Paul says..."We know that in everything God works for the good of those who love Him." (Romans 8:28 NCV)

Right now, in that impossible situation…He’s working for your good...
In that struggling marriage…He’s working for your good...
In that job that stinks, in that class that’s hard, in your bank account that's empty, in that relationship that's dying, in your health that's failing…
Even though you can't see it, God is working for your good.
