As an avid book reader, I couldn't let this verse be a part of my reading today without commenting on it..."My life's a wide-open book before You." (Psalm 69:5 MSG)A "wide-open book"...there's so much meaning in this metaphor.
God knows the beginning and ending of my story...
God is familiar with the intricate details of my story...
God is aware of what's coming next in my life...
God sees my life as a complete work...
God understands the tension and emotion of my story...
God recognizes the plots and characters in my story...
I could continue for days teasing out the imagery...but the best impression comes in knowing that my story is in God's hands.
