As The Sun Rises

Over the last few weeks, I've been waking up when the sun comes up. This is truly an anomaly because, unlike my wife, I am not a "morning person". I do go back to bed, but I am definitely awake as the sun begins to creep in through our windows.

That's probably why this verse grabbed my attention today...
"The Lord will respond to us as surely as the arrival of dawn." (Hosea 6:3 NLT)

Sunrise provides so much. It gives us a sense of destiny...
another day of life. It gives us a sense of hope...another day
of possibilities. There's something refreshing and reassuring
when the sun rises for a new morning.

And to think this is how God responds to you and me...
Isn't that something worth getting up for?
