"The Son gives life to whomever He wishes." (John 5:21 NRSV)
I don't think Jesus is only talking about the initial "new life" we experience when we begin a relationship with Him. I'm convinced Jesus is speaking of more than that...life on an everyday basis, life in the midst of death, life as we face fears and failures.
I know there's far more to the "life" Jesus offers. My problem is...I don't seek it enough. Too often I squirm in the muck of everyday without asking Jesus for His "life".
I could experience so much more if I simply asked...
Jesus wants to give away "life".
