I remember a quote I heard many years ago..."You can't dig too deep into God's Word!" I have found this to be true.
Often in the midst of preparing for a study, I will come across a passage that causes me to dig deeper which in turn stirs up even more thoughts in a never-ending cycle of incredible truth and understanding. I can't tell you how many times I've read something in the Bible and found myself still thinking about it several days later.
God's Word isn't shallow and surface-level. It is deep enough to handle any issue, to give any answer and to offer any counsel.
You'd think that after teaching, studying and reading the Bible for over 20 years, I would come to the extent of its potential. But try as I might, I have never hit bottom.
